[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This was taken at Indian Rocks Beach on the Gulf Coast of Florida, in between St. Petersburg and Clearwater. While walking along the beach in late afternoon, I heard what I thought was a boat approaching from behind me. I turned to look and saw this two-person ultralight aircraft buzzing along no more than 30 feet above the water, paralelling the shore. Not the safest planes in the world, but it seems like a great way to enjoy the water and beach.

Great job getting a sharp, level shot off, with a moving unanticipated "target!" The compo is very nice, and the plane looks great! My only quarrel would be with the brightness of the light on the water. But...I love the colors and the overall mood of this shot!

Hi Robert,
Excellent capture and well done on the composition.

What a beauty.!!!!!

I like the light on the water.Maybe a little bit bright but it creates nice contrast with the darkness of the water. Nice composition.

great picture with the unexpected arrival of a light aircraft looks like they are having fun, plane nice and sharp good colour tones, water a little too bright, maybe in another version you could give the pic the well used sunset effect.

Excellent! Stunning! Notice how the horizon "bends" under the plane... I'll send a copy of this photo to the Flat Earth Society also found here .... they will revel in this new found evidence that the earth is truly flat and you shouldn't travel to far east or or north, lest you fall of the edge of the earth...

I LIKE YOUR PHOTO!

Absolutely stunning!

Hi Robert,
lovely light way here, I like play of the light and shadows, and the water structure looks like liquid mercury.
...Almost futuristic mood :-)
Thank and best wishes,
Elena
