~Mixing with Buddha~

Good day, evening or morning!
While shopping in Target(department store)my fiancee and I were registering for gifts. Well at one point we came across the candles isle. My eye immediately gravitated towards the Buddha Candle holder. Picked it up and checked it out. Hmmmm...$10 dollars. I'm sold. Not to long after we ventured home. In my office/video production/music room I wondered about a place for this Candle holding Buddha.
At first, placement was on the tv. Then changed to a nice place on the other computer table. But Candle holding Buddha would then be behind me. Hmmmm...! So as I prepared to jam with some frequencies, I noticed this nice small niche of a spot right in front of me and in front of the tv(which is never on except when video editing).
And so here is the story behind this imagery of mixing with the Buddha. Mixing frequencies by candlelight is quite a nice mood enhancer.

The Buddha in this image, is only for me, a representation of the great spirit/energy.
I liked the candle holder.

thank you and take care,
~michael~

pp-cropped image all the way around. Turned to b/w. Copied layer of b/w and blended with Screen layer mode. Did not judge the candle well so it's quite blown out, yes, tripod, but I was not patient with that idea at this time. Anyway, Neat Image for 1600 ISO. Luko's USM. Added border/stroke and upload.

Like Marleen said, this image is so you! The way it is composed geometrically to perfection, and with such a nice tonal range. The buddha is priceless. Great addition to your gallery! And nice to see you again!

Hi Michael,

Hi Michael,

Good to see you again!! Long time no see... :))
Lovely B&W composition combined with the mistic/religious element. The way the statue is lighted adds to the mood. I hope it gives you inspiration... :)

Congrats on the engagement, I think the Buddha is in a perfect space. It's a good way to personalize and make the room a little more relaxing.
