Last bird pic for a while, I promise! :)

This ravenous little guy was plucking those little tube shaped flowers from the tree and drinking the nectar inside of them. Pluck-slurp-discard. lol...

I have no idea what this bird is called though. Can anyone help?

Superb capture, I just love the colors, action, focus and contrast. I really haven't an idea as to the type of bird that is, but I do know that in 43 years I've never seen this species in Oklahoma.

Have no idea the name me neither... But for shure the colors are great! The red of that flowers simply increase the impact if it's blue feathers! Great capture!

This is the most beautiful bird I have ever seen! Very nice. B

Wonderful colours. The red and blue work well together. The detail is superb. I like the way the background is well out of focus eliminating distractions. Beautiful shot.
