[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is another in my butterfly series. This one was taken at the Key West Butterfly Conservatory. These butterflies were moving so fast it was hard to catch one not in motion, so this was a lucky find. I'm not sure of the exact species as they had so many in the conservatory. I would highly recommend a visit there if you are ever in Key West. Cropped and sharpened.

Nice shot Paula. Great composition and excellent depth of field. It's so difficult to capture moments like this. I tried a workshop to mess with the colors and the black levels. I hope you find it interesting

Paula, I looked at your other buttefly shots, but this one really attracted my attention. The green shade of the leafs where the butterfly is resting is just marvellous. The depth of field makes it look almost surreal. You have also managed to capture a lot of detail on the wings of this little creature. This butterfly looks beaten up... she has lost a lot of colour and has been beaten up by the winds as there are many pieces of the tips missing. Great pic. Thanks
