| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Meet Emily Dickenson, one of approximately sixty cats residing at the Ernest Hemingway house and museum in Key West, Florida. Most of the cats at the museum have six toes, and Emily is no different. Hemingway lived in Key West during the 1930s and was given a six-toed cat (polydactl) by an old sea captain. Most of the cats residing at the museum are descendants of the original cat.
The museum is as famous for its current residents as its great American novelist. Each of the cats has a name, and are cared for by museum staff and a visiting veterinarian. Most are spayed or neutered, although some are allowed to breed to maintain a roughly stable population of sixty or so cats. |

Hi Robert,
Well done on this capture and presentation.

|I like the natural frame of leaves. she must know she lives at the museum. A bit of old style here. Interesting note.
