Per John Tulip's request, let me introduce my family to you - on the left is my wife Julie and oldest son Jared, on the right of course is me with my youngest son Zach. This was taken in July of this year while we vacationed in Key West Florida. We are standing at the southern most point in the United States a mere 90 miles from Cuba.

pp - crop, lighten

Enjoy - looking forward to meeting your family!!

Hi Greg,

Good to meet your family and you. Excellent shot and well composed. I see some radar units in the background. LOL
Excellent work.

Mike

Nice family shot !!!
Apart from that, shadows are on your subjects and a foot is cut for the boy on the left.
Light must be on the people you want to photography ... in my humble opinion !

Hello Greg,
A pleasure to meet all of your family in one picture!! I notice that your sons are going to be very tall when they grow up:) and, like Mike, also noticed the radar units in the BG;)

It is nice to meet your family Greg! I say, "Hello to everybody". This is a good situation where you could have used your fill-in flash, to nullify the shadows on the faces. Overall it is a very good picture, you have documented the marker on the southern most part of the United States.

Greg,
Thanks for the introduction. Cool picture, too. What kind of slobamanoba are you standing next to? Never seen one of those.
Keep shooting,

Nice family, Greg. What I like is the colour saturation and everyone's attentive look at the camera. Some nit-picks though: Jared's right foot is out of the frame (unfortunately almost unavoidable in this kind of set-up), and I think cropping more from left & right sides would enhance the shot a bit (less distraction from the subjects). I also notice that the horizon is not level, you should have straightened this in PP, though I'm aware that the pedestal would look a bit weird... only one solution: you should have lined up the camera with the middle of the cone (a bit more to the right I think).
Anyway, thanks for the introduction. Regards to the family.
TFS.

Great family photo, Greg! I was in Key West in January and it was hot enough - I can't imagine being there in July. Kudos to you on this shot - I like the tight crop and bright colors represented. I posted a very similar photo on TrekEarth and got no points! LOL!

Thanks for introducing us to your family, Greg! I love the framing, and you all chose an interesting piece to gather around for the photo.

Hello Greg, beautiful family photo and well captured. Did you use a tripod :)

Lovely wife and kids and nice dad too!

Tfs and have a great day! Yan :)

p.s., sorry, out of greens

Hi Greg, Nice great family, in a place very known by me from child and which I have not visited when I was in USA, this one is the distance that separates the majority of the Cuban of a dream. Many regards,Rafael
