I saw this bird up on a branch high above and used a 200mm to capture this image. I decided to make this a high contrast BW rather than go for a "realistic" colour image.

Beautiful, the choice of black and white simplifies the picture exquisitly. The placement of the branch and bird reminds me of a Japanese ink drawing of the best kind.

I realy like this "Oeuvre d'art". It as a little japanese look. The choice to make it in BW is very a good choice. Well done.

very nice high key.
I've seen in magazines that some photographers use a very light yellow instead of white and that really looks nice.
making the deep blacks grey also adds to the mood of those pictures.
