Winter Waterskiing

| Today was a beautiful day for a walk in the park, and while most of the rest of the United States is contending with snow and cold, here in Florida the afternoon was picture perfect. My wife ("lilycat" on TL and TE) spent the day at John Chesnut Park, just down the road from where we live. The park is situated on the east side of Tarpon Lake, which is a pretty good sized fresh water lake in the Tampa Bay area. There were quite a few boaters on the lake today, and we caught this guy enjoying the warm temperatures, although since he's wearing a wet suit, I'm sure the water temperature was a little cool. |

Hi Robert, this is great for me becuase of times past. I used to live in Indiana and would come down to Florida to attend waterski school for training. Came so so close to going professional. Thought college was a better idea. In the late 80's used to get up before highschool and get some skiing in. Although made a tough day at school. Really tired by 2nd period. Oh well you'll have that. So great photo for the action and the memories. Thanks.
I currently reside in Sanford, Florida.

that looks like sooooo much fun right now. here in Michigan we just got snowed again last night....BLAH
awsome action picture
My family is very sports oriented and this is the type of shot I would aspire to. I love the stop action. That, not only can you see the action of the skiier, but you can see the expressions of the onlookers in the boat. great shot. Jennifer
