[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I live in Florida, and I was fortunate enough to capture the shuttle as it was coming in for its high-speed, but non-powered landing. The shuttle creates two distinctive sonic booms as its velocity drops below the sound barrier, rattling windows along its flight path. It's quite an experience to see this amazing craft.

Okay, I didn't really capture the shuttle landing. The shuttle pictured here is a model my son built from Legos. After he constructed it, we went out to the driveway and he held it up against the blue sky. In Photoshop, I simply cloned out his hand and arm, adjusted levels, and re-sized.

Wow....photo très spécial d'un avion spécial...bien réussie cette photo...belle clarté...

It seems that the shuttle has been selected from another pict (we can see traces of the selection) then pasted onto this picture's sky ?

WOW !!! very intelligent and almost real ... very nice .. congratulations for you and your son ... eduardo

Ok you got me on the thumbnail... I was just surprised cause habitually i remumber it's more desertic where she landing... FUnny and well realised!

Ha ha - I didnt think it was real when I saw the thumbnail but you had me fooled for a split second. Creative idea. Good work with Photoshop - looks like it really is in the sky. Good contrast.

Very interesting concept. I think adding a little distortion to the shuttle itself perhaps to give the sense that it was taken from far away with a long telephoto, a little haziness.

so funny, good job. (this comes from someone who shares living quarters with -- approximately -- 3 quadrillion, 4 zillion, 2.67 billion, etc., etc., etc. Lego pieces!) LOL. thanks for posting it.
