| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
| Taken from atop an observation tower at Wall Spring Park in Palm Harbor, Florida. This boardwalk winds its way from a spring-fed lake through a mangrove swamp and to the three-level observation tower. The tower overlooks the park with a distant view of the Gulf of Mexico. |

This is a nice image. Nice colors, good perspective. However, it feels (for me) that there is no resolve in the pattern presented. The boardwalk begins in the bottom center of the image, then, it's ambiguous if there is a top right exit as well as a top left exit, or only one. If we see the boardwalk, it does represent a question mark. If by using a wider angle, we could see where the road leads or resolves in one of the corners, the image would be more balanced. Right now, the two "exits" are hiddent by trees.

I like this photo, The angle gives a certain depth. The contrast between the wood and the soft greens of the grass and trees are nice.
Don't know about entrance and exit points. Sure it is valid but it doesn't bother me.
Hey Bob .. all well over there ?
Looks like the one I did see in the Everglades
park a few years back .. only there.. hungry eyes stared up to you by hungry aligators (^&^)
Nice photo.. sharp good colors and the POV is so nice as if you fly over the heads of the girls wandering what's to be seen around the corner on right .
Well done Bob
A tulip for this compo

Hi Bob. This is very a striking composition, as far as I'm concerned. Great contrast between the beautiful greens and the boardwalk itself. The inclusion and positioning of the girls is the final touch that makes this work so well. My only reservation is the lack of sharp focus. Does this have anything to do with the compression for uploading? It's such a shame... I really did want to give it the greenest smile, you know! Yours, Andrew.
Hi Bob,
I like this shot. The POV is good. The colours are lovely and I like how the trees at the top frame the photo nicely. Well done!
Claudia
Robert,
Have to agree with John, great POV and your depth of field is also excellent. Give yourself a pat on the back. I'll give you a smiley!
