One of the few pleasures I had while at Mayo was the beach on the Atlantic Ocean. My first real sight of the ocean was early in the morning to get these sunrise photos. This one was taken 5 minutes after the one posted yesterday. The beauty of this sunrise was impossible for me to capture with my camera. It gave me hope and inspiration and reafirmed my belief that this is an incredible and beautiful world. I stood in awe and wished I could live forever..........

I am amazed how behind I am in viewing all the beautiful photos that have been posted. I don't know if I'll get caught up with all the new ones being posted...but I will try.

I'm in my special TL corner, so come on in and visit a few minutes...I love hearing from you...and Thank You.....:O)

Wow....this really is beautiful Kat. I can see how it would give you inspiration...it is truly amazing. The colours, composition and contrast are fantastic.
I am glad that you were able to get out of the hospital to take such great pictures.
Thanks for sharing,
Hugs to you my friend,
Liz

Another fantastic post! You WILL live forever through these photographs. Your work is amazing and so are your words. Thanks for your entertainment, education and inspiration.

Amazing shot Kat, the early morning sun for me is always full of hope, you have captured a spirit here not just a picture. Well done.

the photo is really beatutiful, the contrast and colors are really good
lot of thoughts in this capture, thanks for sharing

Another lovely sunrise. And I was going to say, the sun is too central, but then I noticed the bird which is perfectly placed in the last quarter of the frame. So the whole balances in broken balance after all. And that bird was centered element in yesterday's post. Mind you, it didn't fly very far in those five minutes between the two shots.

A beautiful sunrise. Excelent capture and well done on this composition.
Glad to have you back, trust all is well and will continue, God's blessing.

Mike

This is such an intense sunrise that almost looks like a sunset...
Thanks for posting this one too, it's a perfect image to see as I am about to start my work day! I'll take it with me ;-)

The sun is a star.....
Peaceful mood in the early morning with the sun rising and creating beautiful colours (I only can see the "sunset" in our North-sea...) and light, nice to see you, "our star" between us all:-))

Welcome back, Kath!
Beautiful warm colours - just what I need as over here I'll have to wait for scenes like this for another few months, I believe (according to extremely long winter we've been having).
I like your composition a lot. What 's that dark horizontal stretch over the sea?
Hugs,
Robi

Keep'm coming, Kat ;o). I see you levelled the horizon here. Another gull, very beautiful sun colours, and these rays top it off! Excellent work Kat, I think this is a better one than yesterday's. TFS.

You have a knack for sunrised kat, I love the use of the star filter.

What a beautiful scene to inspire, we do live in a beautiful place and quite naturally want to stay here forever. I could never sleep when away from home and would have been up early with you taking in all the early morning beauty.
Don't worry about getting to all the photos, I don't know anyone who can do that! I barely have time to comment on the few I'd like to. Best wishes and thanks for another lovely photo.

X marks the spot, I'm a sucker for sunsets, great shot, keep sharing. OH, Congrads on June 15.
