My sister and her friend will hate me once they see this, but I was eager to experiment a little.
I'd seen the effect done before and looked for awhile to find a suitable picture, one where the subjects were straight on.
With the pen tool, I drew around their mouths (individually, of course), feathered the selection by 3 pixels, copied and pasted over their eyes, sized it appropriately, rotated slightly, and with some layer masking blended their "new" eyes into place.
Applied heavy duotone and uploaded.
It's certainly not a perfect effect and I'll need to practice it some to get it right, but not bad for a half hour's work. |

Definitely one for the horror movie fans - the one on the right really is pretty convincing - but don't expect anything nice for your birthday!
