[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
May all of your dreams come true in 2009. My dream is not a material thing, but for personal growth in many areas. Some people desire to have their "dream car". The Bently is not my persnal favorite, but the following certainly are amongst the top two! (It's a dream... remember? LOL

Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren $457,250 A GT supercar, the SLR McLaren is the fastest automatic transmission car in the world with a top speed of 207 mph+ and reaching 60 mph in 3.8 seconds from stand still point.

My dad has been in the car business for over 50 years as is my brother. I've loved cars since I was a child.

In the photo, I liked the emblem. I lightened with gamma correction, contrast added as usual for me, slight highlight, resize and upload. The car was white, but it has a "greenish" tone to me. Does it to you too? Any ideas?

Critiques [Translate]

Yes, you are right, greenish tone, due to flourescent light. Can be corrected in Color Balance by sliding the scale more to purple..just play with it until it looks ok..OR...you can do a "click" white balance and tune it in RAW. also, your filters will accent it..so when indoors, remove your filter!
Other than that I am dreaming of a hotrod...but I'd rather be happy than rich, so here I stand with my old Honda and my old motorcycle! HAHA! After the booms last night while I was talking to you I went outside and got some pics! It was an experience...B-)

That's a great dream! :) Probably these items will be cheaper as the auto makers need to sell them...
You captured the logo well, I love the reflection in it, it's like a balloon drwan inside. Interesting presentation in good sharpness and details. I wish your personal dreams come true in 2009!

Nice macro,
I like the crop, the reflexion comming from the ceilling. Strickly technical, i find that everything is perfect...exposure and contrast wise...but I've got to agree with shelbeesmom, with that greenish...i would say cyan...that needs to be corrected..so i did a workshop to show you my point of view.

Have a Wonderfull 2009, may it brings all kind of good things into your life.

Hi Lisa, great close-up of the Bentley emblem and grille, it is nice and sharp plus I like the diagonal PoV - don't see any greenish tinges on my monitor.
The SLR McLaren is definitely on the 'cool' list

Ah yes! We CAN dram :)
The diagonal works well to give this normally static image greater dynamism

A nice sharp close-up of the winged logo, and also of the grille section. I love the lighting and reflections in this shot – particularly the reflection of the domed (?) skylight in the badge.

That's a nice sharp shot Lisa - fine subject!! Linda's hinted at the tinge problem..

A fine simple composition - very effective..
