[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Just a simple purple flower taken on our weekend in Savannah, Georgia. The city was built with 24 public squares, each one a "mini park" nestled within the streets and avenues. Twenty-one remain and all are full of flowers, trees, shrubs and fountains. The city is very picturesque and it's a good thing I brought an extra memory card. In just three days' time I shot almost 400 photos.

Tech: Cropped, applied USM twice: 20/100/1 and 75/0.7/1, ran through NeatImage, applied borders.

I have viewed your other photographs and many exhibit a fertile imagination at work, not this owe. Flowers are a mundane subject as you can post; just look around. As for the frame, in my humble opinion they are just swarmy and add nothing. A "pretty picture." Are you really satified with that; I don't think so. Pretty picture.

Hi Rob,
Lovely capture and a great frame, which enhances what is alrady a pretty image. I smiled when I read how many photos you managed to capture in a mere 3 days. In our wkend away (also for 3 days) I managed to shoot less than 60:( but, as you know, that was due to the extreme wheather conditions.
