[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Photo from the top of my friend's houseboat. Many, many boaters out enjoying the lake. This is part of the lake that is relatively quiet. Calm, peaceful afternoon under the shade enjoying friends.

Lake Lanier in northern Georgia, U.S.

I darkened a tad with gamma correction, added contrast, slight saturation to liven up the colors, resized and sharpened for upload.

Thank you for your comments, critiques, and workshops.

Hi
I have to say this is one of the best photos which I have already seen on Treklens. You did the best. The composition, cadre and light are completely acceptable. I read your note about it and I found it perfect. I give it useful mark.
Have a good continuation and thanks for sharing

Hello Lisa,

Excellent sharpness with perfect details.
Very good POV. Well done.
Best regards.

Hello Lisa,
Didn't yoooou know that when you show a lake in the south you are supposed to be holding up a monster Largemouth Bass? It does appear the day was a beauty to rest on the houseboat with drinks and friends, but what about alll those other boats that are docked, where were they?
To better emphasize your vision of the scene you may have wanted to exclude the boats that are docked and take on a much more direct approach of the houseboat, it would have helped to make a more pleasing scene.
Have A Great Week...
Steve
