A tribute to one of Louisville, Kentucky's finest musicians and arrangers, Roger Dane. Roger has made a tremendous impact and welcome addition to the Jazz and Big Band sound around Louisville, KY. Thanks to his efforts, several charities have received many benefits from his contributions and appearances. Here's wishing him and his groups the best he offers all of us.
Heavily post processed and colored from B&W and color photographs. Three layers edited in Adobe Photoshop 7.0. |

I love the theme. I'm a big fan of Jazz and especialy Big Band. I personaly play Trumpet, Piano and drums.
I just don't understand the treatment here. WHY?!?! Sorry but Roger looks like a halloween caracter.
What have you done to the bell of the trumpet?
Once again, you missed a good opportunaty to keep it simple.
Regards.
In the thumbnails i was little confused to comprehend but your note makes every thing clear.Well its an artistic presentation of your fav musician and its ought to differ from a snapshot. Its how you perceive the person.I like the PP work, composition and frame.tfs
Wow Joe, I bet this was difficult to do. This type of character is good for any community. I wish we had more like him.
