Here's one for Dennis! Couldn't resist a beautiful "almost" fall day in Louisville for nine holes of golf at my favorite golf course. And I couldn't resist this shot on the par-5 fifth hole. As the colors are almost turning, and the sun was almost setting, this is the way to end a beautiful day. For all those other golfers on TrekLens, too. Some saturation and contrast done to the sky in Adobe Photoshop 7.0. Inner frame added. Otherwise, what you see is what you got!

Thanks for viewing.

Hi Joe - I'm not a fan of the frame, I think the image is strong enough without it, and that the frame distracts a little, rather than compliments. Something simpler, maybe? Sorry.

But, that said, I do like the image itself. The wide angle gives a great sense of openness and tranquility. The saturation is strong, but it works - and the long shadows are a delight. The image reminds me a little of Gleneagles...deep green, the trees, rolling views. Nice image.

Hi Joe...nice shot...great tones and colors...nice work.

Hi Joe
The background and those rich colors gives the shot a bit of a painting look.
The shadows of the players adding to give this a lot of depth.
Dot

I like it, the warm colors of the sky, the kitch color of the gras....
wonderful light on the evening
great work.....

Hello Joe!
Very nice light and wonderful colours in your Sunday composition!
Lovely point of view!!!
Best regards!
Lili

Thanks Joe!

I can't think of a better way to end a late afternoon. This is majestic. It's so beautiful that it doesn't look real. I imagined Kentucky as having some wonderful courses, maybe Michigan too, but I've not played either. I've finished a round when the shadows were long on the green like this, and still wearing shorts! IMO a golf course in one of the most beautiful places on the earth. I like green!

Thanks Joe!!!

Dennis

A very subtle scene with the colour and position of light and shadow.. The diagonal shadows look great...

The frame has been discussed I believe :-)

Cheers
