"Why I love golf, especially in the autumn..." Not a question, but a statement. On a beautiful and crisp autumn day at my favorite golf course in Louisville, KY, Crescent Hill, sometimes I would rather shoot photos than play. But not very often. Problem is I photograph much better than I play!!

Thanks for viewing.

Beautiful Joe!! The contrasting colors couldn't be more vibrant. I can see why you love to be out on this course.
Love the way this is composed with the overhanging pine tree top left, and the shadow bottom right as kind of a balance.
Great shot
Trudy

Hi Joe,
I love the light of autumn and its contrast of shadow and brilliant color, and you have well captured them here. The composition with the lines of the trees, carrying my eye to the golfer and then beyond is very pleasing. This is truly a lovely place to be.
Regards,
Lois

Hello Joe,
Aristocratic autumn. Elegant photo. Nice frame.

An absolutely beautiful scene with vibrant colours and perfect exposure. I'm not so sure about the frame - the shadow from the frame blends into the shadows in the top left and bottom right corners in the shot causing a bit of an uncomfortable distraction for me.
Apart from that minor matter you have a lovely image. If you played golf better than this you'd probably be on tour.

love the contrasts and composition the golfer seems dwarfed by the splender around him. don't think it needs this frame just a simple border at best.tfs

Hi Joe,

Great composition here, the view down the tree-lined fairway is superb. I like how you used the foreground tree and shadow to frame your subject. The fall colors are very nice, and the CP did a fantastic job with the sky. I'm not much of a golfer, but this is really good.

Best regards,
Werner

Hi Joe,
it looks a great course - this hole looks pretty straight forward no real hazards if you can keep it straight - the putt looks like its going to miss on the low side.
Back to the photograph - beautiful Autumn colours and good PoV looking back up the fairway but I am not a fan of writing on photographs - they tend to distract from the scene
cheers
Jack

wonderful scenery with great colour and sharpness I do not like your border however TFS
warm regards
David

Wow Joe! Gorgeous, just gorgeous! So many things make this photo interesting to me, the DOF, colors, shadows and the FG pine in focus. Tell me how you got the pine to be in focus too?
