[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Spring has arrived!!! My Mom called this tree Grandfather's Beard, I don't know the real name but when it blooms it is beautiful. I was worried that Katrina might have damaged it because she tilted it and broke a lot of the limbs, but here it is the harbinger of spring!

I've included another angle in the workshop. Sorry I can't do macros yet, so I have no closer photos.

Tech talk:

No PP work
Just a frame and title.

Thanks for visiting,
Fran

Bonjour Fran

You guys are lucky, flowers already. Nice POV on this one Fran. I love the optimism and simple beauty of this pic.
Thank you
Paul

Simple yet so very effective Fran. Excellent choice not to interfere with this one. Soft and so delicate. I went looking for info on that tree and all I could find was references to an Australian tree which looked nothing like it :) TFS and hugssss
David

It is a super tree Fran, and the blooms do look quite unusual. I haven't seen anything like it out here. It looks very good against the blue sky. The colours and details are nice and sharp, so well done,
I think that maybe it would appreciate a good pruning before next spring to make it more compact and it will come away better the next year. You were lucky Katrina didn't take it all out.

Which chance you have to see already trees flowered in your garden... and that Katrina saved it. It is a beautiful tribut to it by sharing its flowers with us. Very simple and elegant photo. Bravo!Annie
