The day was sunny for a change so I grabbed the camera and went over to the local park. This swan seems to be very friendly because each time I am there he swims up to me looking for some food. You can recognize him by the marking on his bill. This was after his 'feast' and after his drink of water.

The ripples make this pic look special. And the dribble! Good one Fran
Janice

Hi Fran,

It's a great shot. Very sharp and very well composed. You captured at the right moment. Well done.

Tfs,
Tjutjut

How strange, the ones here have that dribble too :). What I found most interesting is that close up they are not really black. Nicely composed Fran and superb detail in the feathers. TFS,
David

Many thanks for your comment on ‘Happy Belated Birthday Shelby’.

Busy as an innkeeper on payday.

Hi Franny
Attractive arrangement gives a pleasant and dynamic composition, with fine details!

Hi Fran
I like the different point of view of the swan and we still get to see
the fantastic red beak and long curving neak. The ripples add life to
the image. Its always surprising to see a black swan verses the
white ones. Well done Fran.

Paul

Great look through, excellent colours and good sharpnes. A very attractive picture Fran
Rob,

Fran~
great job! i've always loved the look of bird on water, if it's ducks, geese...or swan!
He has such character! as if he rules the place!
excellent work!
.::asha::.

Hello Fran,
A beautiful bird, great details in the plumage!
I like the circles in the water, seems like the bird has dipped the beak...
Nice to see the swan from a different point of view for once!
Greetings,
Pablo -

He is nice and i enjoy a lot that drop of water who will fall in the second from it's beak! Water present wonderful concentric circles!
