There is a local song done to Zyedco music called They all asked for you recorded by Rockin' Dopsie Jr. & The Zydeco Twisters. This is the lyrics of the song "They All Asked For You"...with a few changes and the last paragraph added by me!

I went on up to the Audubon Zoo

Yes, he / she is waiting patiently for dear Johnty to come visit the Audu'mon Zoo. . .
It looks like it was a very hot and sunny day Fran. The fur is a bit OE, but the expression of patiently waiting and waiting shines through,

Excellent portrait of John, I did not know there was a TL meeting in New Orleans...Hope he does not return the favour in a future post...... Good shot of this beautiful animal, with this pic you can really see how orange they are. Like the way he is soaking up the sun and enjoying life. Good one Fran.
