[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Walking around at a gathering for a surprise birthday party I spotted this glass of wine in front of one of the attendees.
She happens to be a woman my mother grew up with and a best friend and close relative of the birthday honoree.
It was late in the afternoon and everyone was unwinding from a long-ish day and a good dinner and generally just hanging out and chatting.
I liked the look of the wine against the blue table top and the black pocketbook, but especially was attracted to the inverted reflection on the shell of the wine glass.
The refection up top is me, or so it would seem. ;0)
Shot in RAW, converted to jpeg, no real post work other than a very slight saturation push and an equally small increase in black levels.
Resized, sharpened and framed for posting here.

Very nice reflections caught in glass.
IMO, the BG is a bit distracting, and I think if you desaturate the rest of the BG, will make this photo excellent.
Once I go home will do workshop for you. TFS

A nice idea, Wilt... the reflections in the glass are very well captured, I like the way the reflection of the woman is sharp whereas she isn't herself.
The black thing, however, is quite distracting and for me it ruins the compo completely...
