This photo was supposed to be included with others as a stitch or panorama experiment, but this turned out to be a nice portrait by itself.

It is a nice portrait by itself. I like the colors and the light. Though I feel it is a little too soft for the hardness of his expression. Baby shots should be this soft, but this kind of photo...I feel that softness can be used but not to the extent you have. It was good work, but it doesn't really fit with the mood. A little less, that's all. Also, I would not have covered half of his eye with the hat. His expression is slightly lost. Maybe so that one eye is visible and the other one is covered like in my portrait "......". Yes, that is what I called it haha. Besides those two problems I think you did a fine job, mostly with the colors, though I'd lay off a bit on the contrast because the black of the mask is lost in the suit of the model. Sorry..I just noticed that. Anyway, good job on the whole!

Hi Joseph,

Great portrait here but I prefer him to hold a piece of chocolate so that he would be recognised as Willy Wonka (of the Charlie and the Chocolate factory).

TFS,
Hong
