[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Halloween gives birth to all sorts of new makeup possibilities. A favorite amoung my friends: the irridescent false eyelashes. Worn here by a friend who was "the disco grinch who stole christmas" (???). Note her contacts.

A funny picture but interesting.

Hi Isabelle, welcome to TL! Very good idea and subject here for a photo, the close-up and eye-level point of view really caught my eye and those bright eyelashes really pop out from the rest of the shot, which seems to have this heavy warm yellowish cast to it. Really wonderful framing and cropping with the face emerging into the photo from the left, and the eye at the side instead of the center. This creates a strong composition. I might recommend cropping slightly off the right edge to make this fit the rule of thirds and be a little careful about the shot getting too bright, because the area under the eye is getting a bit overexposed. Really wonderful use of lighting that makes the iris of the eye just glow and catch attention. It all makes the viewer wonder what she is looking up at. I am going to post a workshop of this to show you what I mean about cropping and color and tonal adjustments, hope you will like it! Thanks for sharing!
