[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Since I don't have much of a green thumb, I asked my wife what kind of flower this was. She wasn't sure either, but we think that it is some variety of mum. The story behind this plant is that it has come back to bloom every spring for over a dozen years now. No TLC or any care for that matter, it just comes back to brighten the day every spring. A special gift that really keeps giving.

The only PP work on this is a slight crop and resize for posting to TL.

Thanks for viewing.

Hi Werner,
Excellent composition! Such vivid and striking colours with this one, the DOF is great too. Looks like it could be part of the daisy family, but maybe not. I used to have something quite similar in my front garden, it opened in the sun and closed at nightfall. Anyway, terrific clarity - a job well done :).

TFS,
Scott.

Hi Werner
Wonderful capture and flower
Great light and clarity
Thanks

Hi Werner,
Like the DOF here, the sharp yellow flower draws attentions but that's due the used blurred background. One remark; the crop is quite tight, the petals don't have much room and I wished they had. Nevertheless the overall impression is a cheerful picture!
