[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I'm not sure if my international friends know the "close shave" reference here, but in the US we use the term to describe a close call in terms of an accident (and other references as well). Well, in this close shave I got nicked by the other driver wishing to share my lane and it looks like they drew a little blood.

I realize this isn't a great shot, but I documented the damage with a few photos and it sort of fit the theme.

Yes, I've heard the terminology of 'a close shave', used in the context of a lucky escape from a serious accident. The scratch mark is clearly visible here. I'd buy a lottery ticket! Have a nice weekend!

A good shot for the insurance company. Detailed and it does show the blood. I thought that kind of driving went out with the Movie Benhur (and the Chariot race.)I hope your weekend is tranquil and free of this kind of stress.

Hi Werner, this is a very good documentary image for the insurance. Poor car, itīs annoying for you.I only can hope that there was no ladydriver, who caused this little accident:-)))Have a nice weekend. Time to walk now, when the car is in the garage.

I think this fits with the theme, all right - as you say, it was a nick, not just a close shave!!

Composition isn't so bad for what this shot is - a documentation of a fact. In that respect it is clear, unmistakably so.
