[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Yesterday my wife and I visited the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad Museum. The B&O Railroad was the first commercial railroad in the US and the museum houses many restored and well-preserved trains and artifacts from yesteryear. It's most definitely a good place to visit if you enjoy railroading.

While I was composing this shot, the little boy ran up to the engine and my first thought was to wait until he was out of the picture. Now, I'm really glad he was there to provide a sense of scale and a bit of humor. I wonder if his mom told him to "look, but not touch?"

PP work:

The sky was uncooperative and a hazy-white overcast, so I replaced it with a light blue sky from another shot.

Slight crop, resize and sharpen.

Thanks for viewing and have a great weekend everyone!

Interesting locomotive, good sharpness and nice colours.
Greetings
Tadeusz

I am glad you captured the little boy also. He not only provides a sense of perspective but also a sense of balance. I find that the eye is always drawn to a human figure so in this shot the eye moves between the train and the little boy. Nice shot TFS
warm regards
David

Hi Werner

The small boy at right of the train, adds scale & a welcome human presence. Another fine shot in your railway museum series. Good color & sharpness, & a superb pov. Tfs!
