[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I thought the converging tracks and sense of congestion created by the proximity of the cars to the rear was interesting. This was taken at the B&O Railroad museum as we were waiting to take a short train ride on the one to the left. The mile and one half ride runs along the very first commercial tracks laid in the US. Not a very scenic ride as it goes through some of the poorer and more dilapidated sections of Baltimore City. I’m not sure, but the cars to the right are most likely awaiting restoration.

Thanks for viewing and have a nice Sunday.

Hi Werner,

I can't thank you enough for helping me with my photos.

Do these cars really get restored?

Hey, Werner,
I like those converging lines, too. All kinds of nice lines, angles, graphics in this one. Really great color and the exposure is just right. I love train shots. :)) Many thanks and kindest regards,
Shelly

Hi Werner

Superb use of diminishing linear perspective & vanishing point. Somewhere in my archives I have a shot of an old railway carriage in Siberia, that someone was living in. I really should upload it, one of these days. Tfs!

Hi Werner,
Nice simple concept with a real sense of busyness. Looks like a train crash upon first glance, the central POV was a good choice. You seemed to have managed the blow-out in the sky effectively too. Well done.

TFS,
Scott.
