Now remind me, which one is the emergency relief valve?

This is one of the steam engines on display at the B&O Railroad Museum. I didn't have a tripod with me, so I used the side of the window opening to steady the camera. I like the red caboose visible through the opposite windows.

Thanks for viewing and have a great week.

Dear Werner,

A technical side of the photography :)

The picture is indeed innovative and with great perspective. The sharpness is perfect (though without tripod) and the colors are very natural. I like your interesting note.

thanks and regards,
Paras

PS: Sorry, today no more point-budget otherwise I'd love to award some

Buena foto de este impresionante motor con buena luz y encuadre
Buen trabajo
un saludo

Nice work to shoot indoors and not overexpose the outside Nice pov composition colours and definition
warm regards
David

lol, I like your sense of humor Werner. This looks way to complicated for me. I haven't figured out all the buttons on my camera yet. I'm crazy about contrast. This shot wouldn't have looked much different if you'd made the engine area B&W, but left the caboose red. I'm going to do one of these shots someday.

I've learned a lot from you.

Dennis

Hello,

quelle machinerie, génial ce détail de la loc, une merveille, ça a l'air du robuste, ce qui est vieux est toujours plus robuste, superbe.

merci et maitié

Nicou

Hello Werner
I like the pov here, the caboose through the window reminds us we are outside and actually on the railway. The deatils of the controls are nice and shap given this is hand held at 1/2. This looks very different to a British steam loco!
