[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I like to look for things that are different or out of place to photograph. This rail car and ship's screw are abandoned along with other rail artifacts near the B&O Railroad Museum. I can understand the rail car, but the propeller just seemed odd there.

This was taken through a dirty train window as we were slowly moving along. I boosted contrast and saturation to bring out the rust on the screw.

Thanks for viewing and have a great day!

Hi Werner

Another superb entry in this rust belt railway museum series. Good sharpness & color. The propellor is indeed odd, & the graffiti just adds to the sense of abandonment. Tfs!

Hi Werner,

This looks like a huge A100 marine propeller. I would have never guessed that this was taken through a window or moving. "Werner" must be spray painted on the other side. :)

Dennis

You use photography well to bring those things to our attention that we would normally ignore. This is one of the abilities of photography and you exploit it very nicely. TFS
warm regards
David
