[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
While on the road working with a client (but discussing photography), we both saw the moon and flag, and he encouraged me to stop and snap. Nervous about rush-hour traffic, I snapped quickly, intending to clone out the camera pole, but then deciding to leave it in the shot. I believe the flagpole was originating from my destination, the office building at the end of the ramp.

PP work—contrast(+10); cloned out a light pole, and cropped out traffic signs, cars and roadway. Ran through Neat Image, and resized for submission.

Splendid picture, very well seen and magnificently captured. The moon adds a lot to the scene, and it was a great choice (well, an impromptu choice) to shoot with the afternoon light.

Guess which other detail I found extremely interesting and intriguing.. The camera at the top of the pole. I don't know if you noticed while taking the shot, but in any case it's a great metaphore for our times... *wink wink*

Chris

EDIT: Was by any chance the "Who's Watching You" for that detail in particular? I just realized

What crazy person would encourage you to run out in rush hour traffic for this shot? I love the title!

Hello Karen,
Very good pictures with much details. The composition is excellent. Would thank and beautiful greetings.

Eva

For a brief moment, I thought the camera was actually fixed to the top of the flagpole (and it could be had you stood to the left a bit!) and I was getting angry. But instead you've captured a nice visual metaphor for the Orwellian society we are becoming. Beyond that, the setting sun provides a nice, warm cast on the flag, trees and clouds. Nicely done!
