[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I wanted to get some pictures of my mom at her birthday and I just kept clicking away. I caught this reaction of her's while she opened a gift.
I used automatic exposure settings on Photoworks 400 ASA film. I cropped the image to emphasize her face and increased color saturation and contrast. I removed about 90% of the noise which I attribute to too many airport x-rays.

hello Robert, not techncally brilliant :) but i don't care because i like these kind of pictures. You have captured a moment of happiness, happy surprise and indeed joy. What more can anyone want?
