I got the general idea for this from another photo here on TL: http://www.treklens.com/gallery/Europe/Greece/photo147962.htm
I tried combining some of my nature shots together, but I couldn't make anything that looked good.. so I stopped being serious about it and threw together three different shots. The background layer is a picture I took at Ocean City, Maryland in July of 2006 during a sunrise over the beautiful Atlantic Ocean. The second layer, the one of the white sculpture, I took a year ago. It was a sculpture that I found in a graveyard. I don't know if it's supposed to represent a biblical figure, or if it's just supposed to be a sad looking woman. The sculpture seems to look deeply sad to me, and spiritual at the same time. The third layer is from a picture I took of a "strawberry man" I made for my three year old twin daughters for lunch a few months ago. I thought it looked pretty silly...
After looking at all the different layers, for some reason I thought about God. I've always had a hard time defining my own higher power... for some people, they understand God through religion, which I feel is represented in the statue. For others, their higher power is found in nature and living a spiritual life... which I think is represented by the sunrise photo. And as for the strawberry man, well.. some people just have a strange sense of humor and don't take spirituality or religion seriously. :) |

Like your idea, but I think it would be much better without strawbwery.
Statue is well joined with sunset and human figure on the beach.
Strawbery IMHO is'nt. Took too much attention and without reading your note it's very hard to connect it with rest of photo.
And If my suggest clone this red spot on horizon near hand of statue.
Regards Darko
HAHA This really is quite interesting. I love your note about God and the strawberry man. I was wondering why there was a strawberry there.
Anyway, good attempt here, i think u created something really interesting and nice. :)
Thanks for sharing.
