Moisture, decaying leaves and shade yield new life, beautiful in its own way.

I added this to the HPP category because of the more than usual PP work I normally do:

Cropped
Cloned out second mushroom (not as good looking)
+ Contrast
+ Saturation
Burned in front left side of mushroom.
Sharpened
Reduced graininess in Neat Image.

Oh wow! great shot Werner .. you must have been lying flat on your belly to get this one!
Great use of shallow DOF .. that little mushroom is nice and sharp against the blurred background.
Nice job;
Trudy

Hi Werner

I miss my 300mm zoom & macro lens. Good sharpness & shallow dof on the mushroom with a soft, diffused light. Perhaps a tighter frame? Good color & saturation. Tfs!

Excellent pov great colours and details I agree with Chris that a tighter frame would help - just enough to eliminate the yellowy green leaf at the top that is competing for attention ;-)
warm regards
David

Hello Werner,

A classy shot, full of coloured textures, a perfect dof and with the focal image perfectly positioned in the frame, showing the relationship between death and regeneration.

Have a good day,
Bev :-)

Buena composicion que nos trae el otoño con las hojas caidas y las setas de diversoas clases
buen trabajo
un saludo

TFS, good PP work, didnt really afect the overall mood of the shot, still looks natural.

Hi Werner,

I didn't know there was a HPP category. Are you sure that you don't have a micro lens??? This looks extremely good to me. I can't take a photo this sharp with a tripod; I just don't know how you do it. I feel like a little kid playing with an adult toy.

Hi Werner,
Excellent composition and clarity. The auto-focus looks like it did it's job well, as did the shallow DOF. Nice exposure too, it all looks very well managed.

TFS,
Scott.

Hello Werner,
The composition surely depicts the forest floor micro-niche in a very natural way. The mushroom is very sharp, there is good exposure management. Good work. Regards
Danilo

Hi Werner
