Hi Werner, I must say, I don't often look at cat photos, or comment on them, but this one did catch my eye. You've got some really great detail there.
Also I liked your note ... I remember Max und Moritz too, also I believe from my grandparents. I haven't thought of that in years!!! When I clicked on your link, the cartoon chararcters looked familiar immediately. Yup ... childhood memories.
Schmutz .. hehe :)
Have a nice Sunday

Such a coincidence Werner. I recently adopted a 4-month black manx kitten, and his name is also Max. Your daughter's Max looks absolutely sweet and gentle. Fine focus on his eyes, I am glad you completely show his ears and whiskers. Cheers.

Hi Werner
I guess they could call it 'Mad Max' when it's naughty ;-) Effective tight framing with good sharpness & reflections on the eyes. Tfs!

I'm so envious of the clarity here. Are you sure I have the same camera???:))) Maybe it's not those Michael Jordan shoes that gave me my 2" vertical jump. :)
A very lovely capture Werner.
One never knows what will stick in a child's mind. When I think about the few things that I do remember, for some reason they were significant at that time. I try to be conscious of this in my interactions with my daughter, but one really never knows.
I like Max, but I'm not crazy about cats. I had one named Job..from the Bible. I named him this because of all the pain that cat brought me. The last thing he broke of mine was a $70 bottle of wine that I was saving for a special occasion. Job moved in with a new family after that incident.
Truly a great capture here Werner!

Hi Werner,
Quite a moody looking expression on the cats face, probably not used to being in front of the lens, lol. Excellent clarity, can see each and every detail, the neutral background works well too. Bouncing the flash off the ceiling seems to be a good choice, resulting in an even exposure across the image. Great work mate.
TFS,
Scott.
Hi Werner
Here kitty kitty... You sure got his attention.
I am a animal lover and cats are high on my list.
Good deed getting it from the humane society, this cat at least will have a good home.
He is real cute and you caught him well, the eyes, nose whiskas are tack sharp.
Well done.

Hi Werner,
Max is sooooo cute, I love this cat, such a nice face. Of course I know Max und Moritz, but it's a "black" story, I don't liked it very much when I were a child.
Thanks and greetings
