[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is another fun/candid shot of our grand-niece Lily. I debated on whether or not I should post this, but decided to do so because it shows just a touch of the reality that exists for premies and their parents. While this looks like she’s asking a question while making a funny face, you will notice that her right eye is a bit droopy. Lily had eye surgery about two weeks before this shot to correct a vision problem, and the lazy (crazy?) eye you see here should go away. As her parents said, it takes a few points off the cuteness factor, but is only temporary.

I cropped the photo to a squarer format to eliminate some of the background, and cloned-out some toys on the floor.

Despite the temporary problem, she is a doll and that is a wonderful photograph. Perfect exposure, exquisite detail, outstanding composition and lovel natural looking colors. You can even see the texture in her little sweater. VERY well done! Many thanks and warm

Good use of a shallow dof, excellent sharpness & a cute expression. My only concern is the 1/2 closed left eye. The diffused light & color are superb. Tfs!
