[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is a shot of the chicken my mother brought home from work the other day. I'm right smack dab in the middle of town with several houses close by in the neighborhood and here we have a chicken in the backyard. Luckily, it doesn't make too much noise! I adjusted levels, colors, and resized.

I think the photo must have more power. The lighting is not 100 %.
I try a workshop. Maby you like it.

Hi Derrick,
In my opinion here you did not have the right setting on your camera from the begining. You got the the highlights burnt out and on the other hand shadows too dark. Besides your PP work did not help much the exposure. The POV could have been better too. See if my Workshop improves a bit the light and contrast point.
