| Statue in the gardens of the Biltmore Estate, overlooking the Appalachian mountains. The Estate is the location of the U.S.'s largest home. It was built by George Vanderbilt from 1889-1895, and the grounds span 8,000 acres currently (down from 125,000). On the grounds are restaurants, a winery and a variety of shops. Pretty impressive location. |
