OK, here is the Turk's Cap when I got as close to 'underneath' as possible and you can see his 'face' a bit more. I was almost lying on the ground and didn't want to dally any longer (the dog was barking) so here is the final in this series.

This is very sharp and well focused photo. The isolation of the background from the flower itself. Nice capture. TFS.

Hi Gary,
Good sharpness and beautiful colors. You mentioned that the flowers were pointuing toward the bottom. So this photo needs to be in the vertical position. (trees don't grow horizontal that often) Doing that, I would then crop of the top part of the photo since this is a area that doesn't add to the composition.

Good use of a shallow dof, to isolate & emphasize fg detail. Nice color & sharpness of the flower, Tfs!
