[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Due to human encroachment by the public, using weedeaters and herbicides, the wildflowers that once graced this area are all but destroyed. Here is a stand deep in the woods in a national forest that has some preservation left and hasn't been destroyed yet.

The roadsides are unsprayed and sometimes pristine because the stupid power companies can't pursue their disastrous environmental destruction in the name of 'efficiency.'

These are red beebalm and when they are in a patch, they are very colorful and beautiful.

pp-just a crop, sharpen and slight saturation. Hope you enjoyed the look at some of the 'last of the wild.'
