My two year old labrador retriever, Camir. I was playing with my camera, trying to learn the ins and outs of it, when she sat down in front of me trying to see what I was doing. I couldn't help but take a picture of her pretty little face. :-)

What a great shot and fitting title. More sharpness would have been great, especially on the eyes. Nice one Jaime!

A very lovely picture of this wonderful pet, Jaime. The lighting and the close focus on her eye really shows what a devoted companion she is. We have two dogs and they really are wonderful friends - thanks for sharing Camir with us.

What a great photograph to express your title. Composition and lighting are very nice. You have a well done portrait of a loving family member. Labs are great dogs.

what a nice dog. it's great I like the eye and the black all around

What a great closeup. It really shows how sweet and loving she is. Well done.

A lovely one Jaime, a very nice portrait. B&W is a very good choice. I like it a lot.
Best regards
Guy

Welcome to TL, Jaime. Cool dog portrait you have here, as they tend to move their heads rather fast it wasn't really easy to catch, I imagine. Maybe a colour version would emphasize the eye, as it drowns a bit in all the other black on her head. It's strange that the eye is real sharp, but the surrounding hair isn't. Did you use softening here ?
Thanks for sharing (TFS).

Hi Jaime,
Great close up, I really like it ! :o)
Dogs are indeed so loyal and lovely … I've a golden retriever but he's so curious that's impossible to get a close-up of him, not even using a zoom …
TFS and hugs to Camir ;o)

WONDERFUL, love the comp, tfs, (*_*)

Hi Jaime, what a great close-up you did of Camir! Such a nice tight composition. And the shades of grey in you bw works so well. I guess you must have put this photo on your wall :)

And such a nice tender look Camir has.

Well done and well seen.

Take care, yan

Wow! She´s so expressive... What a great shot!
The framing is perfect. Her eye is looking straight at me... And that shadow covering half of her face creates a mysterious atmosphere. Perfect lighting.
Well done.

What a stare!!! :)) Nice cropping Jaime... And B&W was a very good choice here!!! :) TfS
cheers
