This week has been nothing but rain in Durham, North Carolina. I took this photo earlier this week after some major storms passed our way. This is the end of the storm and the photo was taken from my office window at work.
This view faces Interstate 40, which runs from the east coast of North Carolina to the west coast of California. I cropped out the interstate to focus on the dark, angry clouds. |

Hello Jaime,
I like your picture, those dark clouds give it a feeling of pressure. I also like the way you composed it, letting just a thin part of the ground seen.
regards,
Marija

Very interesting cloud picture, very dramatic and we really can feel the storm going through. You did well with the crop which left only a small band of the land to give us some perspective on the sky. Well done!
Very intelligent crop, Jaime! You leave only these 3 very contrasting zones. A good light to emphasize the clouds. Well done!
Interesting picture, bravo!
Very well picture. The black and white is very good. The atmospere with cloud is good.Great photo.TFS.
Thanks for yours critique for my rabbit.
Sorry for my bad english.
Great shot. These clouds look so fierce. If only they were telling us something horrific is going to happen in the Gulf Coast in the days to come.
