I am a cook so I wanted to share this photo of one of my tools.I took the close up of this knife and then adjusted the contrast to show more detail of all the nicks and scratches from about 4 years of daily use. after doing the adjustment it turned the white cutting board this is resting on black.
Tell me what you think of it. |

very interesting Brian! i thought it was a ticket or piece of paper of some sort from the thumbnail.. it's a bit scary knowing it's a knife! very good sharp detail here and the contrast you've achieved is excellent.. really effective the way you've brought out all the nicks and signs of ware.. well done! ^_^ - Ayda
Hi Brian, this looks so gritty and used - very, very industrial and the diagonal compo is surely spot on. Great job!

interesting indeed I think this detail detail is superb and I think the scratches and nicks give this knife a good touch, well captured macro.
hi brian,
this pic gave me some interesting taste.at first I thought I was looking a formula-1 news or what ,but after I read the note :-)) I hope it works well, because from here it doesn't look so sharp anymore.A good macro,
