Yes, spiders are the creepiest of creatures. You were brave to get close enough to this one to get such a sharp, detailed shot. The eyes and hairs are very defined. He looks great against the blurred background. What is it crawling on? Well done.

This is so cute. A lot of people would run away screaming, if confronted with any creepy crawly, so kudoes to you for your courage. Personally, my phobia is snakes. A spider can be hit with a well aimed shoe, & moves slowly, but a snake can strike lightning fast, & is less predictable. Tfs!

EEEEEEEEK...those things are SO UGLY!! How could another spider fall in love with that face! SCARY! Is this one of those jumping spiders? We have these funky banana spiders...and they are about 3" wide, from leg to leg. When they get mad, they rock their webs...eeeeekkk...bouncing....bouncing... OMG..I'm freakin myself out! This is nice, love the way he is peaking above the rock, trying to breathe...calm down,,,, Good job Julie!
