Tulsa Zoo.
Marushka, born at the Moscow Zoo in 1982 and came to Tulsa as a two year old died suddenly last week leaving all of us Zoo friends shocked and saddened. Happy trails Big Girl.

Ah no! And do you know what she died from? Sad story :( But this picture is very nice with excellent POV and composition. I like this blurred BG, she seems like being in the wild... Farewell to your friend.

Hi Randy

It is always sad to hear of the death of a threatened species. Here in New Zealand at Auckland Zoo, Nisha, our Sumatran tiger died suddenly 12 May from a massive stroke (and, it was later revealed, wide-spread cancer). A great loss and a very heart wrenching time so I know exactly how you feel.
