| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
This is Shamus. I met him while shooting a friend's wedding near Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was outside of the reception site stacking rocks much to heavy for him while his mom and dad loaded their van for the trip home. I was getting some fresh air outside when I happened across this little guy. He was more than happy to be my subject and was quite the expressive little model as you can see here. I actually thought he was going to drop this rock right on top of himself when I captured this one.
Shot in RAW/NEF and processed in Nikon's ViewNX. Adjusted levels, increased contrast, corrected color and added white frame in Photophop Elements 6. I have also posted a photo of Shamus picking up this rock as a workshop. Comments, critiques and workshops always welcome; thanks for looking. |
