Certainly there were more beautiful spots in Charleston, and I hope to post more of what I captured when there, but this sideyard to a residence cauught my imagination, and I have thought of this inviting spot since then. The classic brickwork in the house; the brick walkway that has attracted some moss; the gas-flame lantern so typical in Charleston; the pink camellia that reminds me of the South; the lush foliage in the small garden; and the side porch all made me want to explore further.

PP work--I added some color to a blown-out sky, and got rid of parts of a building on the left that interfered with my colorization efforts. Thanks for viewing!

Delicate colours Karen. I love walking through some of the older residential parts of this city and looking down alleyways. Well composed, good PP work and fine detail. TFS,
David
