[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
These two girls were my friends in university. Priscilla sat next to me in band (we both played French horn), and Ilona sat in front of us playing her oboe. They said they were identical twins, but after about two weeks I could tell them apart easily. However, I know some people never learned to tell them apart. I enjoyed hearing the funny questions people asked them sometimes. The funniest one was, "Were you born on the same day, or were you born a few years apart?"

Before they graduated, I convinced the twins to go with me to a park for a portrait shoot. When we first set up this shot, I had Priscilla closer to the camera, but we discovered that her head looked huge because of the perspective with being so close to the camera. That's when we realized Priscilla's head is bigger than Ilona's, so they switched places and the perspective made their heads appear to be the same size!

If you want to know where I got the idea for the pose, it was the memory of eating Girl Scout Cookies as a kid. Just go to girlscouts.org and look at the Girl Scout logo in the top left corner. :)

two cute twin sisters + one intelligent photographer = a great photo!!

i am impressed with the idea you got from the girl scout logo... this is very intelligent and thoughtful... not everyone notices such minor details, like logos, and not every photographer incorporates them in their work!!

i am impressed!

very interesting parallelism, especially the way we can see the differences between the two twins: the one in the right has a more peacefull look... beautiful! congrats!
