Hi Shelly,
This composition is perfect. A closer crop would have ruined this mood! How this little bird seems a courageous fighter despite this rainy day! Excellent DOF showing a great acuity on the bird and an interesting blurred background.

This is awesome Shelly! A perfect catch! We also had 4 miserable days of cold rain...but we SO needed it! We were so dry we were under a fire warning! This is very nice and sharp! Nice bokeh!

Very cute! These birds are obviously a touch of colour and life in an otherwise drab winter. You have used it well to bring some joy to this shot too.
