Hi Werner,
I haven't been on line much since I got home. I actually took a nap. This is a nice view, and I like what you did with the burn-in. I haven't used that function much. Where is this at?
I put in a bid for a macro lens on line, but I'm sure I won't win, but I'm also sure I won't bid any higher.....one of these days.
I see you posted another that I missed...a better Lily than mine; I'll check her out.
Sleep well!
Dennis

To be honest Verner I was uneasy about this one last night so I left it till this morning. IMHO it needed a little more work. Please do not be offended this is merely my own feelings. I like the yellow lines and your pp work but there was some thing I couldnt put my finger on so I downloaded and played with it. I have posted the workshop and hope you like.
warm regards

Hi Werner
Some burning & dodging would improve the sky, in this image. I like the doglegged street in the fg for its lead in lines. Good sharpness & the yellow kerb contrasts well against the blue black sky. Tfs!

Hi Werner,
I've always had a 'thing' for road shots, and this one caught my attention straight away. I like how the road leads around the corner, leaving us wondering what's around the bend. Interesting effect from the burn-in, I'm on the fence about whether it suits.
Personally I think this would have worked even better with the camera tilted more towards the ground so you have less sky in the photo. And maybe a slight increase in brightness within the trees so it doesn't seem so dark.
I do like the sharpness and POV here however, and I applaud you on your efforts. Hope you had a wonderful meal at the restaurant.
TFS,
Scott.

Hello Werner - Interesting combination of a bend in the road with a 'bend' in the weather! Great composition.

Gilbert
